I Am Thankful For…

I am thankful for... | Our Rosey Life

Thanksgiving is always a good time for me to remember the blessings and gifts in my life.  After a beautiful day yesterday at my Aunt’s home with family, I’d like to take a quiet moment now and reflect.

I am thankful for…

Mr. Rosey, who shows me how to laugh and smile and love and is my partner through the peeks and valleys and mostly even-keeled days of our life (thankfully);

Beautiful Big Sis M, who inspires me with her self-assuredness and confidence, which is remarkable as a pre-teen;

Sweet Little Sis C, who touches my soul with her kindness and selfless, loving ways;

For our dog Lucy, who gives licks and wags her tail when I come home and stays by my side wherever I wander around our home;

For my family, who loves me and supports me and lends a listening ear and hugs whenever;

For my friends, who cheer me on and celebrate the joys of life with me;

For you, the readers of Our Rosey Life, who could choose to go anywhere in this big internet world and yet you come here to read whatever tidbit I share for the day.  I hope you find something to make you smile and I am truly grateful you stopped by!

What are you thankful for?  Please share.  I’d love to know.

  1. I know it sounds crazy, but there is nothing that I am NOT thankful for. Everything that has happened to be (the good, the bad, and the ugly) helped me grow and taught me something…even though it would have been REALLY awesome if we won the Powerball lottery a few years back… Happy Holidays!

    • So true Amanda! I think the most growth for me comes from challenges and the valleys in life (even though it’s difficult at that time). I wouldn’t have skipped those moments either.

  2. I posted on my blog all last week about the things I am most thankful for, but as it is December now, I am most thankful for Jesus! That being said, I think it is important that we also count our smaller blessings like a fresh cup of coffee, a good book, and a snuggly kitten. Thanks for sharing your blessings with us, Michele!
