Share It Sunday {31}

Welcome Friends!  It’s time for Share it Sunday!!

Share it Sunday Logo- revised

As you know, I’ve been working like mad in the yard and garden.  Summers in Chicagoland are soooo short that if I blink, I might miss the whole summer season.  This week I showed you how to distress and white wash terra cotta pots to give them an aged look and are perfect for your patio garden.  I added some book page embellishments and twine to finish one pot.  I love the aged feel and some pages from a favorite book make it extra-special to me.Distress and White Wash Terra Cotta Pots with Book Page Accent by Our Rosey Life

Now for last week’s features from Share It Sunday {30}!

There are many reasons why I love summer.  The patriotic holidays are certainly one of them.  I really enjoyed this round-up of patriotic recipes and crafts by Maria from Krafty Cards Etc.  Bring on the red, white and blue.Patriotic+Round+Up

And who doesn’t need a citronella candle for a 4th of July outdoor barbecue?  Allie at Crafty Allie takes the citronella candles up a red, white and blue notch to patriotic festive.  And the bonus, no bugs at your barbecue.

This is a good-looking project that anyone could do.  Melinda at Homemade Interest gives a good tutorial on how to make a family vinyl sign.  I think this is a terrific project if you’re looking for a house warming gift or a wedding gift.

And these wonderful aged flower pots from Paula at Virginia Sweet Pea are so similar to my white washed flower pots I made this week that I just had to include Paula’s version to give you more inspiration!
