Share It Sunday {28}

Share It Sunday WelcomeWelcome to Share It Sunday {28}!

Hello Friends!  I hope life is good!  Hopefully, you were able to see some of the awesome inspiration from Share It Sunday 27.  Grab a drink, relax and we’ll feature a few of our favorites.  There are a lot of great ideas, projects, crafts, recipes and home decor ideas.  We decided to do a random selection, so you can see the wide variety of inspiration shared each week.

From me, I’d like to show you a distressed white washed flower pot I made from a simple terra cotta pot.  I used my Silhouette machine to cut the flowers out of old book pages and card stock.  It was a super easy project and just looks pretty too.White Washed Terra Cotta Pot with Silhouette Cut Flowers 2 | Our Rosey Life

One of the awesome things about reading blogs for me is the ability to travel to places I haven’t visited…yet and to learn something new about a special place in our world.  Today Kathi from Run & Stitch shares a unique and fun story about a traveling iceberg by her home.  I know.  This doesn’t happen at my home…ever.  Go check it out!  It’s worth reading.Run and Stitch - Alaskan icebergs

With summer on the way, I love this round-up post full of ideas of fun things to do with kids this summer from Amy from Some of the Best Things in Life are Mistakes.  This is a good read if you have kiddos!

If you’re going to be traveling around town with the kiddos, it’s a good idea to prepare your car for those day trips.  Barb from A Life In Balance gives lots of good tips and advice on what you need to be ready for a day of fun and any possible emergencies.A Life in Balance | car trip needs

For those DIY gals, Laura from The Turquoise Home shares the handiest hint on how to remove unwanted wall anchors.  How many times have you tried to remove these and wound up with a huge whole in the wall?  Or wanted to remove them and had no ideas how to?  Well not any more!

How to Get Rid of Unwanted Wall Anchors

Paula from Sweet Pea shares a bright garden bench makeover.  She outlines step by step instructions on how to makeover a tired piece of furniture into something special.  I love the happy turquoise color she chose to use too.  At the bottom of her post, you’ll find six other “bright” furniture makeovers from her friends.  Be sure to take a look.Sweet Pea | Garden Bench Makeover
