As I look over the 5 most popular blog posts of 2014, based on your readership, I have to agree with you!  These posts are ones that I really loved doing and it must have showed!

I also want to thank you for being a friend and loyal reader of Our Rosey Life!  I know there are a lot of blogs to read and things to do and life to live AND I truly appreciate that you stop by this little corner of the internet to say hello.  Your comments totally make my day!

So let’s take a peek at the Top 5 from 2014…

5.  Easter Paper Banner Tutorial – Silhouette

It’s funny.  A finished project rarely turns out as I originally envision it.  In my head, this Easter banner was going to be made with pastel colored card stock and it wasn’t going to spell out Alleluia either.  When Little Miss C and I went shopping for supplies, she picked out bright and cheerful card stock, so I went with it.  Somehow the bright colors and “Alleluia” went together and the banner was a perfect celebration of Easter.

4.  Christmas Home Tour – 2014

From Easter to Christmas ~ I love the Christmas season!  It’s a glorious time of year and I try to make it extra special as we celebrate the birth of Baby Jesus and the magic of Santa.  Creating a festive home for our family and friends is all part of the magic.

2.  Monogrammed Patriotic Serving Tray – Silhouette & Vinyl

I’ve had this serving tray for years and use it in the summertime often.  One day I decided to give it a little cheery facelift with a monogram and stars using my Silhouette machine and vinyl.

And let’s see what your most favorite blog post from 2014 was, based on your clicks.

1.  How to Distress and White Wash a Terra Cotta Pot

I loved this project!  I even did another project with the white wash technique.  I’ve also been thinking about other items to white wash, so don’t be surprised if you see some new ideas next year.

As I was looking at my blog posts from last year, I saw a few that didn’t make the top 5 list and yet make me smile.  So I’m sharing those too.

Wooden Book Crate for Library and School Books – This is a favorite of mine, because I adore books and I strive to keep things organized.  This book crate solved books the books-being-left-everywhere problem and the forever-being-asked question “Mom, where is my book?”  Insert Mom happy dance!

Father’s Day Paint Swatch Card – We made this for Father’s Day (obviously), but it could be used for any special someone’s birthday or Mother’s Day or just because.  The kiddos were hands-on helpers and I love that.

My Niece’s Engagement Party Invitation – This was the first of a few wedding related invitations I did in 2014.  Each one I made touched my heart, because of the people I made them for… and I just like paper projects too.  :)

So there you have it – the 5 most popular posts of 2014 and then some.  Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!  And a million more thank yous for being my blogging friend!  I really love the creative process of blogging and I am grateful that you visit and read my posts!   2014 was a terrific year for me and my family and I hope it was a great year for you, as well.
